Joakim Pagels from the University of Lund (ULUND) will present how a novel propulsion system powered by a Solid Oxide Fuel Cell (SOFC) combined with Li-Ion batteries can contribute to reduce health and climate impacts of cruise ship emissions. The presentation will be given at the Knowledge for Sustainable Development Conference (2^nd May 2022) in Lund. SOFC fuel cells hybridized by batteries is a technology approach with applications in marine industry that are currently examined by the NAUTILUS project.
