Chemical engineering, biotechnology and bioprocessing are the key to providing innovative solutions for food supply, mobility, energy, health and well-being while striving for a sustainable economy. At ECCE 14 & ECAB 7, scientists from industry, universities and research institutions from Europe and beyond will meet in Berlin to discuss the latest research and industrial applications in all fields of chemistry, process engineering, biotechnology and related fields. The conference unites chemical and process engineers, biotechnologists, bioprocess experts, chemists, material scientists and related disciplines with a focus on applied research and development.

Santiago Salas Ventura, from the Institute of Engineering Thermodynamics, German Aerospace Center, DLR will present at the  14th European Congress of Chemical Engineering and 7th European Congress of Applied Biotechnology (September 17 – September 21, 2023) in Berlin, Germany.

The presentation titled "Operating Strategies for Solid Oxide Cell Reactors in Dynamic Hydrogen Production and Power Load Following," scheduled for September 19, 2023, from 15:35 to 16:00 CET at CityCube Berlin - Room M4, will investigate the critical topic of operating strategies for solid oxide cell (SOC) reactors. These reactors are a highly promising source of energy due to their remarkable efficiency in converting chemicals into electrical energy and vice versa.
